Adventure Starts on the Water
Paddle this gentle section of the beautiful Saco River in one of our kayaks. Have a picnic on a sandbar, relax, and take in the stunning scenery of the Mount Washington Valley. We offer registered campground guests a shuttle service up river to the drop-off point, along with all equipment. You’ll paddle downriver approximately 5 miles and pull your kayak out at our campground boat ramp — a 3 to 4 hour trip that’s a fantastic way to enjoy the outdoors and the river.
Kayak trips run on Saturdays only. Departure is at 10:00 AM — please check in by 9:45 AM. A minimum of 2 guests is required to book.
Pricing
$65 — Single Kayak
$85 — Double Kayak
Good to Know:
- Life jackets are provided and required
- Well-behaved dogs are welcome with group consent — please bring a towel for the shuttle ride back
- Guests paddle back to the SRFC boat ramp and return paddles and life jackets to the Activities Building
- Kayak trips are subject to river conditions; the final go/no-go decision is made by 8:30 AM on the day of the trip
- Cancellation policy: 31+ days prior to trip = refund less a $35 fee; within 31 days = deposit forfeited
Note: Kayak trips are available for registered campground guests only and can be reserved at the Guest Service Office. Kayaks are not launched with tubes — these are separate activities.
